2K Sports recently confirmed what many had suspected, that NBA 2K9 will indeed be released for the PC as well as the console versions. Not only will it be available on PC, but it will be a port of the Xbox 360 version of the game rather than the last gen PS2 version which many had suspected. This is great news for PC sports gamers around the world as this is the first time the crowning basketball game has come to PC in all its glory.
The announcement was first made on the official 2K Sports forums.
We are not yet fully informed as to just how moddable the game will be, but if its anything like EA’s efforts on PC you can expect a huge modding community to crop up around the game upon release. With any luck everything form jersey textures to facial animations & arenas will be moddable.

His sister went onstage and gave the announcement after a 20-minute intermission. “We regret to inform you that we have to cut the concert short. My brother had to be rushed to hospital because of emotional and physical stress he is experiencing,” said Buendia’s sister Lali to concert-goers. Band members Raimund Marasigan , Marcus Adoro and Buddy Zabala followed Buendia’s sister to assist her, according to the report of inquirer.net.
The concert, which was staged at the Fort Bonifacio Global City open field in Taguig, started at around 8:15 p.m. and stopped for a break at around 9:30 p.m. More than 10 songs were played to eager fans at The Fort and around 9:30 p.m. the band took a 30-minute break. Forty minutes later, Buendia’s sister went up to the stage to break the sad news.

Yes, it’s confirmed: The Eraserheads are reuniting after many years of being apart, not for good but only for one show slated for Aug. 30 at the CCP Open Grounds.
According to the STAR source, all the original members are performing, Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan.
This piece of good news should make the Eraserheads fans very happy.
Eraserheads will sing all their hit songs, including Alapaap, Toyang and Ang Huling El Bimbo.

Ely, who survived a heart attack two years ago, has formed two bands, Mongol (which didn’t last long) and Pupil (still playing).

Basta pakinggan mo nalang ako. Huwag mo sana akong pagtatawanan o pagsasawaang pakinggan.
Natatandaan mo anak noong bata ka pa?kapag gusto mo ng lobo, paulit-ulit mo 'yong sasabihin, maghapon kang mangungulit hangga't hindi mo nakukuha ang gusto mo. Pinagtyagaan ko ang kakulitan mo.
Pagpasensyahan mo na rin sana ang aking amoy. Amoy matanda, amoy lupa. Huwag mo sana akong piliting maligo. Mahina na ang katawan ko. Madaling magkasakit kapag nalamigan, huwag mo sana akong pandirihan.
Natatandaan mo noong bata ka pa? pinagtyagaan kitang habulin sa ilalim ng kama kapag ayaw mong maligo.
Pagpasensyahan mo sana kung madalas, ako'y masungit, dala na marahil ito ng katandaan. Pagtanda mo, maiintindihan mo rin.
Kapag may konti kang panahon, magkwentuhan naman tayo, kahit sandali lang. Inip na ako sa bahay, maghapong nag-iisa. Walang kausap.
Alam kong busy ka sa trabaho, subalit nais kong malaman mo na sabik na sabik na akong makakwentuhan ka, kahit alam kong hindi ka interesado sa mga kwento ko.
Natatandaan mo anak, noong bata ka pa? Pinagtyagaan kong pakinggan at intindihin ang pautal-utal mong kwento tungkol sa iyong teddy bear.
At kapag dumating ang sandali na ako'y magkakasakit at maratay sa banig ng karamdaman, huwag mo sana akong pagsawaang alagaan.
Pagpasensyahan mo na sana kung ako man ay maihi o madumi sa higaan, pagtyagaan mo sana akong alagaan sa mga huling sandali ng aking buhay. Tutal hindi na naman ako magtatagal.
Kapag dumating ang sandali ng aking pagpanaw, hawakan mo sana ang aking kamay at bigyan mo ako ng lakas ng loob na harapin ang kamatayan.
At huwag kang mag-alala, kapag kaharap ko na ang Diyos na lumikha, ibubulong ko sa kanya na pagpalain ka sana ... dahil naging mapagmahal ka sa iyong ama't ina...
